I have to sort through stacks here ...
EYSA
Sub Command
America's Army (if it had a CD)
Titans of Steel:WS
Medieval Total War
I haven't done much but cruise message boards in the past couple months. At least til I picked up TOS-WS. What little time I have has been mostly digested by that monster in the last couple days. Longest burn-out streak I've ever had.

Well as with all things, a good game has to do something and do it well.
We have games like Steel Panthers where accuracy has reached incredible levels. Or games like Strategic Command which has achieved in my opinion new levels in playability and superb interface simplicity.
BF42 to me is the best I have seen out there for multi player fun in the realm of shooters.
I have seen other shooters that had great looking graphics awesome sounds and very real like simulation, but hmm in BF 42 you are not stuck with just being a soldier. You can fly a plane, drive a tank, pilot a ship as well. The game is very easy to play, entirely engrossing, and simply the most fun I have seen outside of my grognard style wargames.
If my computer didn't suck, I think I would probably play a bit of BF42 each and every day.
But my computer is more professional tool than gamer platform ie I am more concerned with having a good word processor than a good video card.
Most of my time on the computer is actually spent typing.

Hrmmm my library is well over 100 games, so I'll just list the ones that hang out in my top 10 CD case near the computer.
1) Medieval Total War - excellent marriage of TBS/RTS game, hopefully many more editions of this game engine will find their way to the computer.
2) Combat Misson Barbarossa - a quick and entertaining sort of TBS/RTS game that seems to hold it's own in my library.
3) Combat Mission Overlord - same as above with less interface goodies to play with and a little less graphic quality, but, still rates highly.
4) Civilization III - what can I say, the mother of them all for TBS from alpha to alpha so to speak. heh.
5) Kohan Ahriman's Gift - the kind of RTS I enjoy, very little micromanagement and a lot of action. Gather and rush RTS bore me.
6) Rails Across America - Not your fathers Railroad Tycoon, but, more indepth financial/cut-throat race than building lil railroad tracks and watchin the choo choo's go by! lol
7) Europa Universalis II - An interesting strategy game for the time period I'm not totally familar with, but, getting into lately.
8) Sid Meiers Gettysburg - for those times when just one more charge up the ridge might break the union front.
9) Panzer General II - One of the better beer and pretzel WW2 strategy/tactical games of the early years.
10) Galactic Civilizations - recently pushed Battlefield 1942 out of the 10th spot, but, I have five reserve slots in my case so BF1942 still hangs in there. lol Galactic Civ is like Civilization in space. Pretty good AI worthy of anyone's gaming library.
My oh my where is Eric Youngs Squad Assault gonna fit in that list, we shall have to see after I get it.

WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik!
and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

--SPWAW MC:LV -- never finished this one due to some crashing and loss of save files the first time through. Finally aiming to finish it up. Also, likely to be the only computer wargame I play until the arrival of CL:COI next year.
--Madden 2003 -- Green Bay franchise. (Just got this one cheap at EB)
and at the same time picked up the latest Morrowind expansion, so I'm spending some time on that as well...
However, in the last 6 months I've gone from the luxury of a T1 internet connection in a college dorm room, to no internet access at all with my home computer, so I only spend about 10% of the time I would have a year ago on computer gaming... the extra time is going into reading and painting (republican romans and first century gauls) thankfully.

Never Winter Nights

For those of you that put Allied General, how did that one compare with Pacific General? I always wanted AG but I was a day late and a dollar short so I had to go with PG instead. It really seemed like PG would be funner against another person.

I took the falcons into 3 OT's in my first season
My only loss was when I was crushed by the Colo St Rams...they are the best team in the conference and hard to beat
Their are alot of team in that conference about at the skill level that make it interesting to play
Im in my second season and Im 6-3 because alot of my team left....I had a great recruting drive and in 2-3 years ill be punishing the rest of that conference
Its nice to have someone else to talk about Mountain West Conference football with
