Intresting Site!

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

Intresting Site!

Post by John David »

Came across this site via a link from a TOAW article at the Warfare HQ Web site. Very good info and maps about Operations of German Forces perspective of encirlements in Russia.

Great site. The diary entries by the german officer are very enlightening as to life within the pocket. Thanks.

Excellent job misery!!

I had saved all the pages individually and was going to use Open Office to convert it into a pdf. Thanks for doing it for me and anyone else who is intrested in having a copy. Just another example of how wargammers and SPWAW players support the community!

Again, Well done my friend.[8D]

Sorry about getting SPWAW into my last post instead of Korsun Pocket! I was visiting the SPWAW forum sites here and elsewhere before I posted here.[8|]

So many games...so little time!

God I love this hobby.[&o]

You are all very welcome.

John, that site is great! Thanks for sharing with everyone. I've wasted way too much time there in the past 24hrs. [:)]

I'm working on converting some of the other documents to pdf. I'll post here when they are done.

Freaking Awesome misery!

I've downloaded the pdf's and just glanced at them for now, but I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the work. Guess what I will be reading this weekend!!

Where were you when my wife and I were planning our wedding invitations?[;)]

Glad I was able to steer you to the site.

Thanks again
