Release Date?

Post by Tankerace »

Hi guys. I had stopped playing UV around a year ago (God knows why), and have started to get back in it again. Anyway, I remember looking at this forum for WiTP, and they way it was talking it should have been out by now. Sooo, any projected release date? Thanks again.

I generally don't pre-order because release dates always slip significantly. But this sounds serious.

Is Matrix taking pre-orders?

I understand that Origins is more wargamer oriented than GenCon, but I'm wondering if Matrix games will have a presence in Indianapolis in August?

I've been tracking the release date myself. I've been following May 15th as the release date for the game on electronic boutque's web page. The date has been steady for two weeks. I realy hope it doesn't change.

I hope it doesn't either, but I must say that for the slowing up of stuff, it kinda doesn't look good....but here is hoping.

Guys,
You really shouldn't trust those online stores dates... They often put up any old date or use a date that is wildly incorrect. Sometimes its through negligence, sometimes it's to boost pre-orders... Either way, you should go by the dates you hear here.

What is matrix saying for a release date? I see you can't pre-order it yet.

They're shooting for June sometime - hopefully in time for Origins (see above).

That's not set in stone though, and may change... It'll be worth the wait though.

I personally am moving to the Columbus area in 2 weeks, so if WitP is released at Origins, I will HAVE to attend at least one day to buy it.. But a hint to Matrix -- either make sure you have a LOT of copies or enough security for the riots [:)]

I'm moving back to Ohio end of June but I'm not sure I'll be there in time for convention.
