Small problem with french keyboard

Post by Skyfire7631 »

Apparently, the game seems to be only fully compatible with QWERTY keyboards.

On my AZERTY one, some keys do not work. So far, I found 2 : the ` one (small/large icons) and the - one (units without orders). The others I tried seem to work (and what's funny, for example, is that the A key is also mapped to A on my keyboard, while the 1 key is mapped to &, which is somewhat strange, if you see what I mean : if everything was logical the A key should be mapped to Q, or the 1 key should be mapped to SHIFT-&).

I can solve this with Windows XP by switching to the english language (and so simulate a QWERTY keyboard), but that's a little annoying. Any other solution ?

Regards.

Skyfire,

Do a search for "clavier" in the forum.
Or don't do it. The result is a link to the
French thread

A+

Ha, thanks JeF : I had already made a search, but "keyboard", without any success of course [;)]

Hey, I was not aware that it was you who wrote that article in PC4War : it's actually that article which decided me to order HTTR, so "thumbs up" (we definitely need this smiley [:D]) for you

Thanks. Theo left out my nickname. But compare the last line of the article to my .sig and you'll understand...

BTW, "thumbs up" translates in Belgian to "Alleï, à ta santé fieu" anyway !
