STrange Waypoint Behaviour - Breakout from Joe's Bridge

I'm seeing a strange behaviour in the breakout from Joe's Bridge scenario. When I try to give an assault order, but set waypoints and a FUP (I noticed this first for the hants, but it seems to be a general problem with all units) the waypoints and FUP are not showing up.

Instead, as I (shift-)click the location for the next waypoint, it deletes the previous. So all I end up with is the assault objective point, no waypoints or FUP.

I've never seen this in any other scenario, but it seems to happen at least 50% of the time in the breakout scenario.

I'm using 2.2.86 - I recall this or the previous patch fixing "something" in this scenario, but I don't think it was interface behaviour.

I'll send a save to the usual address; I've tried reloading the save and the behaviour seems consistent, so it wasn't a one-off and should be reproducable I hope.

Anyone ever seen anything similar?
