Combat Results Odd

Can anyone explain what this result is all about? There are no Betty, Marvis, or Jake aircraft at Aparri. Anyway, what does a PT boat hitting a mine have to do with losing aircraft? Seems like combat results are running together or something.

TF 1076 encounters mine field at Aparri (46,49)

very strange, is it repeatable?, and do you have the save that does it?

I was told this is bleed over in the combat report routine and someone was working on it already.....unsure if that helps any.....

You are probably right. It doesn't seem to actually change anything, just shows the wrong results happening. I've also noticed that ships from the previous animation can end up in the next one. Probably the same issue.

I always see reports of aircraft destroyed when sweeping or encountering mines, so there is some glitch in the program that flags "aircraft loss report" when mines are eliminated. AFAICT there are no actual aircraft being lost anywhere, it is just a reporting bug, which I have successfully ignored.
