I'll play either Japanese or Allies, BUT if I'm Japanese I would prefer to play with some advantages, because I've been analyzing and playing this game mostly from an allied point of view so far (truth be told I prefer the allies but can't resist a chance at rewriting history with the Rising Sun). Only one aborted PBEM game so far, in fact, but I learned pretty quick and now have what I think is a running chance against any of you experts out there.

This is a long haul game and I'm looking for someone not prone to ditching games at the drop of a hat. I do not want to restart after 1.30 or 1.31 comes out unless there are game stability issues. We can certainly get new patches, but NO restarts!!

I can do 3-5 turns per week, sometimes less but often more. I usually fire off my turns early morning (8-9 am central US) and often midafternoon or so. I know this isn't the 2 or 3 times a day some guys can do, but I'm in this for as long as it takes for you to cry "Uncle"--and you will cry it sooner or later (smack talk, I know, but I gotta at least a little).

I'm also pretty flexible with start settings and rule variations, though as mentioned above I would prefer to be somewhat redshirted if I'm the Japanese.

Finally, I would like to wait for a game start of scen 15 until 1.30 and any short follow up that might come out. In the meantime, we can spool up a short scenario to see if we can deal with eachother for a long game. Let me know.

I would be interested. I have not played this game PBEM but I play CWIE. That game normally takes between 6 months to a year to complete so I am accustom to long games.

I can do Japanese. I have been trying it out with Allies but sounds like we are both learning.
