$5000 Game?

Post by IceCreamSolider »

Too cool - I always loved watching the guys play Miniatures at Origins but never got the chance to play. With ATG, it is like having $5000 worth (?) of painted miniatures to play with. The game is too cool - I have played a ton of wargames and have never played anything like it. It even reminds me of Sid Meir's Gettysburg at times because of the simultaneous (sp) movement and combat resolution, and the "chess-like" movement of "sticks" of men. The table-top miniatures feel of the game is very well done and life-like. Thanks all!

The three-phased turns are vcool as well!

And you do have to worry about chipping the paint job.

BTW, I hope everyone is still excited about the army give-away. While the entire $5,000 isn't being given away (YET!), the figures we are giving away are really, really nice....
