There is some great historical maps of WWII available at this site (Battlegounds Today) all in high resolution. And some great then and now photos of battlefeilds of WWII.

Works for me. What luck too, as I have just recently been working up on some new WWII maps myself. I guess that proves Murphy's law does not always hold true.
Nelson stood on deck and observed as the last of the Spanish fleets sank below the waves…
