is there any way to change/force the refresh rate to 60hz ?

The game tries to use 75hz, but will use 60hz if 75 is not available. Some graphics cards allow you to override refresh rate. For example, Radeon's advanced properties allow you to force a card to use a specific refresh rate. If you can do this, it will essentially remove 75hz from the list of modes available to the game.

Do you have a monitor that only allows 60hz?

It allows other refresh rates, but for very poor visuals. So at anything other than 60, I cant see a damm thing!

So I guess thats why teh game doesnt jump to 60 onits own. I have a GeForce videocard, but I odnt think I can force refesh rate with this?

You might be able to. Some other players have been successful with adding custom resolutions using GeForce. You might be able to remove ones with 75hz. Maybe someone who has done this can explain it? I've got an GeForce system at home, later I can post an update if I can figure it out.

I think its possible from the advanced settings on my display propities window. It has the option to force refresh ratings. I have looked before and not seen it. It could of appeared since I updated my drivers.. or I'm just blind. Anyway I'll re-install Tin Soldiers and see if it works. I'll post if it works in case anybody else needs the info.
