Install of MC CD

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Install of MC CD

Post by Panzer Capta »

Finally received my copy, and looking forward to trying it out.

However, i do have one question about the install. Is it necessary and/or recommended to remove older version(s) of SPWaW prior to installing the CD.

Thanks

Panzer Captain.

You should install the MC into its own directory. IF you have scens or saves you want to keep, copy them in after installing to a new folder.

I don't think installing it over the top of the old game will be a problem, but Ihaven;t tried it...

I know this is going to be a redundant exercise, but having just received the MC disk yesterday, in two attempts to install, a "Decompression error (#7) was identifie with the SND/Stream/VID012.SMX file - "file CRC mismatch - data integrity error."

I chose to "ignore" on the second try and the program completed it's install without further incidence.

This was a recording :)
