Campaign snapshot: August 8, 1942, turn 6, Tenaru defense line, hazy conditions, visibility 16. Once again, taken by surprise when two Nates swooped down from the north and hit the 1st Company's HQ and other units. Thankfully, I was dug-in, and had a tank platoon and two 75mm GMCs with 50 cal AAMGs in the area. One plane was hit, but both of them dropped their 25kg bombs, causing four units to suffer five or more damage points. No unit was completely destroyed.

Yes, I was surprised, but not completely unprepared. I do allow for some AA defense, but it isn't priority number one. If those planes come back, hopefully I can take one of them down--sneaky yellow devils!
