Steel Panthers World at War Speed

Post by DaveLogan »

Hi. When I run SP:WAW all of the grey message pop up boxes are here and gone like lightning. It makes it a little hard to know if I'm doing anything when I fire on something. Is there a way to fix this? I'm running 8.20.

In preferences, set your "Live Delay" to a small number such as 10 and set your "Message Delay" to a large number such as 100.
These are the settings I use.

Live Delay is the time you wait for the message to appear and Message Delay is the time the message is shown on the screen

Whenever you delete the steel.prf file they default to 200 and 10 respectively.

If you want the game to move faster, set them both to XXX
