If the enemy breaks and flees...

Post by Copper »

Why would i lose the battle? I was playing the battle of the granicus, and i made the enemy break and flee, yet i recieved a minor defeat. This doesnt make any sense, can someone explain?

It's kind of like when you are fighting with your wife and actually win the argument. That win always falls short of victory ;-)

Copper,

That is highly unusual to not get at least a minor victory, but the enemy breaking is only 100 VPs. Perhaps Alexander got wounded? That cost you 100 VP's. Generally speaking, that should only happen if you had some really bad luck with leaders (friendly) getting killed or Alex going down.

If you have a screenshot of VP screen I could shed more light on the subject.

Cheers
