WiTP x HoI2 (RE: "WiTP or HOI")

Opinions about WiTP versus Hearts of Iron 2?

I was very impressed with HoI2's global map, the countries, the tech tree and the political system, albeit much less impressed with its diplomatic and economic systems (too abstract to my liking), and completely annoyed by the way the manual was printed (awfully small letters, no subject index and a horrible grayish background).

On WiTP's side the air and naval combat excel, leaders list is great (or will be after they unhide the hidden stats), and OOB and damage/repair systems are much better too - albeit I'm much less impressed with the land combat system and getting increasingly disappointed on how bugs remain for months.

Probably a better comparison would be World at War versus HoI2, but this works as marketing: if World at War is as good as HoI2, then I'll revert myself and I'll buy it.
