Interface question: Production screen

Post by Espejo »

[&:] Perhaps I am to stupid...

Is there an elegant way to plan ahead production ? Being in the Production phase spring 1940 for example: I would like build a infantry unit in Winter 1940, summer 1941 and Winter 1442 . Any way to place these orders already beforehand? klicking on the quarter I want to build these units and shedule these units?

Nope, becasue of the way damaged units are sent back onto the production queue, it would be difficult to plan more than 1 turn ahead. You end up spending more mouseclicks "holding" units that can't be produced than you save by "planning teh economy up front" the situation will also change and you woudl waste production on units that you may well have to disband.
