THe known NT 4.0 SP 6 bugs are:

Can't enter a password for pbem play
Can't use the "mission" or "Map" button
Can't play MC with CC on.

I've played fine in all other respects in NT4.0 SP6

WHy those strange limitations??? only Bill G knows for sure...

I've had it SPWAW loaded on various laptops over the years all running NT4.0. under different service packs and have never had a problem. However, now I'm getting a new LT with Win2000 and I'm concerned!!! There has to be something else causing this.

Win2000 is much better than NT and Win XP is simply great! I hate to praise a Windoze product, but our experience with XP so far is that it is finally teh windows that windows should have been in the first place...

Win2000 is by far the best produt ever from Microsoft.

I haven't tried WinXP, but their requirements are way to huge to seriously considere it a workable OS for me.

Alas, SPWaW runs great on Linux

BTW, I play SPWaW on Linux exclusively, 'cause I have no Wndows installed

I play it in NT4. Just don't hit the mission button. Everything else works fine.

Get all the service packs and patches too.
