Length of game and A.I.

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Length of game and A.I.

Post by bimbo1555 »

Just got the game...reading the manual.

Is there a difference in the play of the A.I. if you set the scenario length to a short period of 6 months compared to a long period of 15 years. The tutorial mentions playing a 'very short, focused game and a long epic campaign'.....I assume the A.I. plays the same way whichever length you set but I just wanted to ask.

AI will react a little to the end of the scenario coming up I think, so I suppose it does make a little difference.

In general, the Standard (1805) Campaign is the long one, and the others are short.
