Saints and Soldiers

Post by Sarge »

Any of ya get a look at this film yet.

I found it at the local blockbuster (only two copys in stock). Pretty good film, kind of reminded me of Once Upon a Mindnight Clear. The film is based upon actual events and has some pretty good use of realistic equipment. And has a semi realistic veiw of what may have sparked the Melmady massacre.

PS: Sorry SPR fans no sticky bombs taken out Tigers in this one [:'(]

For those that are wondering how is it a German soldier had a M1 carbine in the film.

Never heard of it. Is it a new release and a foreign film?

Actually it was in the theatres at least here in the US. I think it was only selected cities and theatres type of deal. I remeber seeing previews of it on TV commercial. I forgot all about it until now I need to see if my local blockbusters carry it.

Thanks

Yeah, I caught this in the theater about 9 months ago. It's a pretty good movie. Most of the theaters near me had it playing, and there are quite a few copies on the rental shelves right now.
