Mirrored PBEM

Post by Cona »

Hi all!

Gallo Rojo and me want to play mirrored battles by e-mail. Obviously we will swap sides (Germany and CCCP) and buy different but same points size forces. We just need to be able to copy the map from a generated battle to a map file for its use in another "identical" battle. Does anybody know how to do this ? I'd being playing a lot with Chlanda's Map Editor for no result.

Thanks in advance.

Saludos a Todos,
Cona.

Lo mas simple seria que usen para la batalla un mapa ya hecho (cosa que se puede hacer) y asi no hay mayores problemas. hasta pronto camarada
Mierda....y ahora...que corno hago?

This sequence seems to work for me.

Go to battle, continue without buying, save battle, then exit. Go to the save folder, copy the .dat file and .cmt file for the save to the map folder and rename to pzmapxxx (where xxx is 200+). When using battle or editor you can now load the map which will have name like T0 German vs USSR 6/41, unless you go ahead and edit the .cmt file to give it a normal map name.
thanks, John.
