I can see I am not alone in being financially challenged.[;)]

OK I have discussed pricing with Matrix and we've agreed the pricing should be $49.99 for Digital Download, and for the Box version DR just adds $10.00.

Is the Boxed version going to be available at the same time? The military network monitors woudl track me down like a sick animal if I did DD like I do back home. Thanks.

Will the boxed version be an actual box with cover art and a manual, or is the $10 for a the installation files copied onto a CD?

I only ask because I will definitely be downloading the game as that's got to be the quickest way for me to get playing.. but I would consider buying the boxed version as well later to get the printed manual, etc.. but not if it's just the .exe on a disk.

I believe it will be an actual box with artwork but AFAIK it won't have a printed manual. I'll have to leave that to one of the Matrix boys to reply.

Erik/Marc/David can you advise?

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Arjuna

I have discussed pricing with Matrix and we've agreed the pricing should be $49.99 for Digital Download, and for the Box version DR just adds $10.00.

Thanks for info dave!

BTW, you should know that there are many of us "lurkers" here (that post on other Matrix forums) who will not miss CotA because of uniqueness of it's game engine (IMHO one of the best I have ever seen in any wargame)!!! [;)]

Dave -

Quick clarification as I am easily confused!!!....[:D]

$49.99 for Digitial Download
$59.99 for CD and Digital Download or just the CD????

Once again, thanks for the info...I am saving pennies, nickels and dimes as we speak.

Willard,

If usual policy did not change :
- $49.99 : Digital Download only
- $49.99 + $10 + (shipping?) : Digital Download + CD (in a box)
- $49.99 + $10 + (shipping?) : just the CD (in a box)

In fact, the CD on Demand is an option above the price of the product. But you can skip the download if you see fit. See it as the product being $49.99 and Digital Download being free of charge while sending a CD costs money... Or see DD as a $10 rebate on a $59.99 product. Or ... see what you want.

Now if the EURO would like to stay low a couple more months....

Willard,

I believe JeF is correct. If you don't want to download it will cost you $59.99. If you want to download it will cost you $59.99 with a box and CD or $49.99 without a box and CD. I would check the Store for shipping charges.

Will they both be available at the same time or will the CD version be released later then the Download version?

I am hoping they will be at the same time, but that will be up to Matrix.
