Want to help Lock and Load?

Want to help Lock and Load? You CAN!

As you get your copy and play through some games go post your first impressions on the board game geek Lock and Load section! Start some forum threads... talk talk talk... Show the world that new boardgames are being made and are worth playing!

You can even go talk about it BEFORE you get your copy ;-)

I think if you want to spread the word amongst the board and paper community, you should point people at the ConsimWorld site.

I would have thought you definitely need your own entry in the WWII - individual game - western front section.

And if you rush me a copy of the vassal module (and I can find an opponent) I will gladly start to post an ongoing AAR in the relevant section :)

I'd gladly be your opponent, though I would also need Vassal, and some assistance in getting it started.

I'm planning on talking with ConSimWorld sometime next week. We'll see what we can do with them. BGG just got back to me faster ;-)

Yeah, that's the bit of the wicket that sticks. LnL already has a forum on CSW, in fact it is one of the largest at CSW (almost 4,500 posts and a three-quarter of a million views), but it is located in the "Contemporary Conflicts" (or something like that) forums. I don't want to change it to WW2, or fragment the forum with TWO CSW LnL forums. I'll tell you why...

Perhaps the next module will be Crimson Tide, which could either be a module about the Soviet Invasion of West Germany in 1984, or a game about the Bear Brayant era at Alabama... either way... what would I do, switch it back to modern conflicts or football (real football... not the funny kind played in Europe [;)]) boards?

So, we are happily ensconced in the modern/contemporary era.

Best,
Mark
