simple questions from a confused newbie

im playing france in a scenario

1- inmy military build, it has building time in a unit shown as -3 turns... why isnt the unit showing up and why the negative?

2- my corps, you know where the flag of my country units are, my army de centre has a 0/0 for divisions, meaning for some reason i cant put any divisions under that flag, even when i put generals under it.
also- armee de nord has 8/8 meaning all divisions are full, but another shows 3/3, how can i increase the number of divisions in these units?

Hey Devildog, if an army is full of divisions, you have to take some out to get a corp into it. An army holds 8 divs. Sometimes you have to pull units out of both the corps and the army to get them to go in. It's one of those things you have to tinker with to get the feel for.

grand armee- how do i know which is a corps to fit into an army? i think i know what youre saying, so like if the army has 8 divisions, i can take 3 divisions off and try to attach a corps to it that i can then fill with divisions? how come i have flags/container units that ahve 0/0 when it comes to admitting new divisions? i was a USMC MP, never in arty, just a nickname. i got out in 04 but still do reserve stuff now and then

azog- yes, i surrendered some provinces to the austrians and prussians, and currently have spanish forces on my soil, but even though they are sieged they arent yet occupied by the enemy. but i turned the military build off and built just one unit in paris that was to take 3 turns, and now is in the negative 3. im unsure why they wont show up in paris where no enemy divisions are.

Get to the provincial management of Ile de France and change "auto-join" to "Paris" to see if it will help.

Enemy presence in a province stops production of units.

There are a variety of bugs with corps and armies in 1.1 which make them act a little unpredictably when it comes to putting divisions inside., so if you get too frustrated, please take a chill pill. They are all fixed in 1.2.
