Good historical link with a wealth of info

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Good historical link with a wealth of info

Post by seydlitz_slith »

I was checking through some of my bookmarked sites and thought that I would share a site that links to a wealth of good info. This is an official USAF site, and has among other thing, adobe pdfs of several now declassified studies of relevance. It is a site definitely worth takin gthe time to explore. Of specific note is historical study # 136, which is a few hundred pages concerning the development of the long range escort fighter.

Two more links. The first being US Strategic bombing survey, and the material in this document, which was in existence during original development of BTR, had a direct bearing on what was in the game. The other link has many pictures and is just plain cool.
