Run on WinXP in a window?

Post by stodge »

Is it possible to play the game on WinXP in a window? I tried but it always runs full screen. It's the kind of game I like to leave running in the background while I do other things.

THanks

I think you can get Pacific War to go into the background by pressing Alt+Tab. This will bring up the icons of the running applications and allow you to switch to a Windows program.
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

I found that DOSBox works perfectly - it will run in a window and you can press CTRL+F10 to release control of the mouse from the game and use Windows. This is on XP.
