Dutch Pilot pool

I am in March '42 and have tried to build up Timor to a Dutch fortress with some other Allied units. KB just came for a visit and killed many of the inferior fighter planes. [X(]
I have the planes to replace most of the loses, but the strange part was I found plenty of pilots to fill out the squadrons!! I am suppose to get only "4" Dutch pilots per month (version 1.6). Is this a bug or what???

No, you only get 4 "decent" pilots per month. If you run out of good pilots you can load as many monkeys as you like into the cockpit of a plane, they just aren't very good pilots.

Have a look at the exp of some of your new pilots, they should be quiet low

Yup dutch pilo are like gold dust. IF its bombers taking the replacements at 20-30 esperience they can train up. fighters otoh are worthless apart from scaring off unescorted attacks.

Yes, it's better to assign your monkeys to the army where they'll perform much better.
