I defeat England and Spain Sneak Attacks me

after my Gloryish Victory vs England , my boys Sail (?) back to France, for some nice R@R (well, you don't expect them to take it in foggy old London do you ?)

and of course, just as the troops start to unload off the ships and settle down, the Don's of Spain, the Dastards, Attack me with out warning ! we have been friends for over 10 years ! pay back back shall be painful, and swift

of course, it may be a hassle, as most of my Poles have never even heard of Spain, let alone know how to get there

the first month of the war, mostly ends in my favor, a one large battle which I win easily and a couple of smaller ones, which they win, I take a hit, when some Spainish troops decide to sneak into my newly Freed English Provinces chaneg hands, before I can take them over !!!

I have 3 armies in what used to be Aus, two are sent to chase the Spainish army down there, and the last one is sent north, to try and save the Provinces that I got from Russia

Polish troops move into West Prussia to take it back, and 2 Armies up near Sweden, move to take over the Spainish north, one slips down to take the other Spainish Prussian province

my Polish Armies from the battle in England, move south to get ready to either cross the border into Spain or to protect the border from any Spainish troops moving north

over all, looks like most of the Spainish Armies are already in the field and in the East

Sweden is already a Ally, due to the war, I try to lock up Turkey and England as Allies, Russia is already at war with Spain (as are Turkey and England) but the Kosski bred leaders of Russia, hold a grude and will not join

this will be painful

a number of battles are fought, some the Dons run as soon as they start, so for the most part, the idea is to do what damage I can, and take as many troops away from them, for the later battles

a major battle is fought in Poland

I was able to form a Heavy Left Flank, but the Don's broke and ran, just in time, or I would of netted the whole Army, Shades of Hannibal

then my Poles move into Smolska (?)

it had just fallen to the Don's, the houses are still burning as my troops move in, the sights of the slaughter they were not in time to stop, just adds fire to there eyes, the people who used to live here may not of been Poles, but they are still Slavs, and blood runs deep, the Don's will not get the chance to run again

the Don's spring there trap, just as my troops leave the burning Village, 242,000 of them, vs my 140,000 Poles

two Arty Div's are over ran, as soon as they begin to move, Don Cav is all over the place, the Don's blood is up also, 5 Div's are shattered taking out my Arty and I have not been able to fire a shot, as my troops begin to respond and untangle themselfs, a whole forms and the Spainish Arty is able to get a few rounds off

what is left of my Arty fires point blank into the swhirling mass of horsemen, Lancers and Don's go down in swarms, the Lancers charge into the smoke, knowing that even if they surive the charge, they may not surive the counter charge or the shot and shell pouring into the mass of man and horse

the Polish Cav to the left flank cuts in behind the Don's lines, only, they are not behind them, they are in the middle of them, they do what they have been trained to do, CHARGE

this is turning into a Major Horse battle, the Don's Charge is broken and then followed by the Poles, who are in turn broken and countered charged

while in the middle of the line, the Arty just fires blind into the masses, Lancers are chargeing there own former guns, to stop the enemy from being able to turn them on there friends

the Don's Arty is over ran, over to be over ran again by the Don's

the commander to the south is holding his Horsemen back, waiting for the right time to commit them

battles are going on beyond veiw, the commanders of the Army are lost as to the over all course of the battle, all they can do, is reley on the training and skill of there younger leaders, a major battle of the NCO's

Still it is Charge, followed by Counter Charge, break up and reform, if not, die in place as another charge hits your flanks

some Lancers who have charged into the rear of the Don's lines are soon surrounded, and then the rest of the Lancers in the area, try to free them, which in turn gets them surrounded

Heroes are found, and lost in moments, but over all, the Poles hold, charge after charge they stand, and never give up, they may die in place, but the slaughter they have seen this day, will not go be forgotten

they shall repay there foe, even at the cost of there lives

and then the Angels begin to cry

there tears make the battle HARDer to follow, HARDer to stand and fight, but nothing is going to stop them from fighting

the masses in from of the arty have been cleared away, but the rain ruins the feilds of fire

charge, reform and charge again, then take the counter charge, a long day, a terrable day and it is not even close to being over yet

the only peace to be found this day, is to close your eyes and give up

the General is seen on his knees praying, and the Angels respound, the sun returns

three Divs of Arty fire as one, and the center of the Don's line disappear, as if a Horn from the Heavens is sounded, the commander in the south orders his horsemen into the battle, the battlefield seems to freeze in dread as both sides wait to see the results

the Polish Cav is not as well know or as feared as they mighty Lancers, but this day, this day every one will remember the Polish Cav, all goes down before them

nothing stands, nothing holds them back, the Cav gives the Lancers the Heart to reform and Charge again

the tears from the skies begain once more, as if the Angels can not stand watch what will happen next

the Don's melt away in the storm

I lost 2 Arty Divs, the Don's lost 1, along with 10 Div's POW

there Armies in the East are Crippled, the Polaska shock Army is Hurting, almost every Horse unit is at half strength !

I beleive at one time during this battle, every Horse unit was displaced, most units were displaced more then once

I would have to say, this has to be one of the best battles I have ever fought
