No German Mineclear Tanks in V7.0 OOB

Post by Skotty »

I don't know if this has been brought up yet since it seems the search function in the forum has been removed, so forgive me if this has been brought to light already.
I am in the second battle of the Watchword Freedom camp on the EF in 44 where there are 2 PZIII MinenRam tanks attached as aux units. This unit no worky-worky. I parked them both in front of mines and for 3 turns with no suppression, no mines where cleared. The units were faced to the mines.
The unit icon is a Grey Tiger tank. I searched the encyclopieda, and the unit is not there. I also loaded the OOB editor and logically it wasn't there either.
Just a heads up for a 7.1 OOB fix, if it hasn't been caught yet.
Thanks,
Skotty

The units usally are in the cech oob, and they have to be on top of the mines to work, not like the engineers and face the mines.

Remembering past posts, the mineclear tanks were taken out since they were never deployed in numbers, the model shown was a prototype. The ones really deployed were based off the PZ1 chassis and would have been even easier to kill.

From what I remember of my mine tests back during v4 mineclear tanks will clear from an adjacent hex but only 0-3 mines per turn where engineers will clear 0-5 mines per turn.

Regular infantry has to clear from the mine hex.
thanks, John.

Just in case you still want it. It is number 43 in the cech oob.
Plus I believe Mr Bill has a patch for this campaign.
