First turn observations.
Germany decided not to take Norway.
Germany took Yugo first turn instead.
Nothing radicle in the Med, a511 just put his fleet into the central Med and put CAP over it.
Japans first turn. Thats me.
I decided to take Foochow on the first turn, and expend the production that would be necessary to do so on turn 1. But I did it a little different from the AI's method. I didn't send in the 4 carriers and expend the 20 supply that method would entail. I choose to instead attack without the air support and thus save the supply. In the end I damaged 2 of my inf and 1 ARTY I believe. That will cost me 3 production points to repair so I quess I came out ahead by 1 production point by not using the carrier air.
Russia and WA's. What they did turn 1.
Dobeln only left 1 militia, 1 flak, and 1 art in Scotland. Guess what happened on turn 2? Ya it was to good to pass up so a511 pounced on it. He managed to damage all 3 units with just his HB's and a L.F. They were pretty good rolls. The only thing his invading infantry had to fight was the lone militia that poped up. Scotland is firmly in Axis hands now. But Germany did leave his 3 transports out to dry. Which I'm sure Dobeln will finish off.
Stonewashed decided to front up a bunch of his Chinese into Liuchow, which is on the coast. 9 land units and 1 fighter total. This was something I decided not to pass up. I launched a huge amphibious invasion supported by 5 BB's and 1 LF, plus used the surrounding troops. I whiped out almost all the Chinese. I believe 2 retreated. My losses were 3 militia, 3 damaged inf, 1 damaged HB, and 1 damaged fighter. I felt it was worth it. Now the Chineses are looking mighty thin everywhere.
If Germany succeeds in taking London on turn 3, Franco will join the Axis. Once Spain is unfroze it will almost certainly take over Gibraltar.
