provincial production output formula(s) ?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

provincial production output formula(s) ?

Post by oliver »

Hi,

is the formula known which determines provincial production output ? Or are there even several formulas for different types of goods ?

As far as I have understood, provincial production output is basically influenced by

- a ressource factor of the province (EuProv2.txt and Ralegh's Provincial cheat sheet)
- the population within the province (start2.txt)
- improvements built within the province (start2.txt)

It will be modified by the allocation of labor to a certain product as well, and by a random factor. The difficulty level chosen also reduces or increases the output. But these factors are not necessary in order to determine for which products a province is suited best at the beginning of the game.

Ralegh's Provincial cheat sheet is a good starter, but it doesn't make allowance for the influence of population and improvements.

Any help or hints are highly appreciated.
