Is this a stealth venture with Battlefront?

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Is this a stealth venture with Battlefront?

This game looks like alot like CM. It has a feature that I once had asked for in CM.

The interface allows you to select a unit without having to hunt around the board for it.
I like that.

So is this game really a collaboration with Battlefront? Is Battlefront creating a faster playing game but trying to keep the CM brand specific to a niche of players?

Is this game a testing ground for the upcoming CM2? Is the reaction system seen here, again a hint of CM2?

Am I speculating too much? :)

Anyhoo, if Battlefront is out to sell a variation of CM and rake in some more cash, cool.

Yes, you are speculating too much [;)]
