Replacing casualties

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Replacing casualties

Post by Jingles »

Hey guys, I'm a new player and still getting a feel for the game, which, by the way, is the coolest ever[:D]

Anyways, I remember reading a thread about how to get replacements to depleted units, but I didn't really understand it. I don't want my divisions to be disbanded because of low strength, and I have taken huge casualties. So my question is can anyone give me asimple explanation of the way(s) to replace my soldiers that have become casualties in my units? Thanks for the help[:)]

Troop replacements will trickle in to the unit when they're in supply (ie near a depot).

Replacements come faster when in home territory.

You can also transfer troops from one division to another.

Since militia are usually in garrison, they are in supply, and usually stay full. You can open the military advisor screen, click on a militia unit, and then click on the unit you want to transfer troops to. Voila!
