Axis Total Victory.

Post by warkat »

Greetings,
In order to learn how to play I decided to set all players to computer and watch the action. I noticed that the AI of the allies can win a total victory by Capturing East/West Germany and Tokyo even when Total victory is flagged (ticked). The same can not be said of the Axis powers... they tend to expand until they can meet the 70 or 75 point total and then stop. They don't go on to conquer the world. Is this the way the AI was written? Is there anyway to mod it? I think you can add a victory condition so that the Axis has to Occupy Washington, London, Moscow and that Chinese Capital. Any Insights would be appreciated.
People are mostly stupid and hateful and cruel to one another but - hell; let's save the world anyway. It's better than being bored. --ROOK--

Yes you can mod what cities are needed by the Axis to gain a decisive victory. I have done just that in my mod Franco's Alliance. In it I have added victory cities in the Pacific theater, so that the Japanese have some goals too.

They are.
1 70+ Victoria and New South Wales
2. 70+ Chungking and Eastern India

These are grouped as pairs in the same way that Leningrad and Stalingrad are both required.

Give my mod a try. There's a lot more than just this to enhance gameplay.
