Image for the backup CD

Post by RedDevil »

Hello,

after playing quite a bit of HTTR and lurking in this forum for ages, I am happy to announce that 5 minutes ago I became the proud owner of COTA.

The first thing I did (actually I am doing it as I write) was to burn the file on a DVD in case something happens to my hard disk although it would be the second time in 3 years.

I am using one of those printable DVDs, so my question is: is it possible to have the image of the CD so that my backup copy will look extremely professional? [:D]

my email address is m dot zarri @ gmail dot com

Cheers,

I am not affliated with Matrix, but I do remember a post about this before. They do not want CD label images provided because of a concern about possible pirating of the game and it being sold somewhere as a retail item. I would suggest just making up your own label from some screenshots. Me, I just scribbled with a Sharpie, but I'm not an artistic type anyway [;)]

Yes Temple is correct. Matrix policy is not to provide the professional CD image to mitigate against pirating. I would second Temple's advice to do a screen grab and mock up your own label.

Fair enough,

I will take a screenshot and manipulate it a bit. In the process I will wish a slow and painful death to whoever will try to sell pirate copies of this amazing game, although I like to think this is not a major issue for a niche market product.
