Lost Activation Number

I have lost the activation number for my World At War game. I am not using the computer that i originally had when i bought the game. Looking through regedit that was suggested in another email does not help because this game was never installed on this computer. Can anyone assist me with this. Thank you in advance.

Do you still have the original CD? If so the number should be on the sleeve.
 
Did you purchace retail or directly from Matrixgames?
 
If you purchased retail, lost the CD and do not have access to the old computer I dont personally see any way you can prove you ever purchased the game. If on the other hand you purchaced from Matrixgames they may still have a record of that sale.
 
Either way I suggest writing support@matrixgames.com and providing them with some sort of proof of your purchase so they might help you recover.

In fact i do still have the CD and all documentation i just dont have the sleeve anymore. That is the problem. Is there anything i can do.
