That is a very good question. There doesn't seem to be a standard method (like DB requests) and searching for facilities is a bit hit and miss.

Anyway here are two more Libyan airports:

- Al Abraq Airport - a good sized airport with about 10 large revetments and some interesting structures in the east
- Zuwarah - another small airport west of Tripoli

That's it, if I've missed any they won't be in the next scenario (MF #8) but this should be the lions share. These are all done by eye so if anyone wants to apply some KMZ tools to clean them up, fill your boots.

Yeah, I didn't mean any kind of standard format. Was just wondering about any coordination between the github resource, this thread, and the devs.

2024-01-13: Added a couple of additional bases, as well as a hypothetical highway strip in the Philippines, and corrected a couple of issues. Most bases are duplicated across both packs.
2024-01-27: Added Kwajalein's US airbases and moved a few structures that were in the water.

Please note that some of these aerodromes are hypothetical, and would require additional jungle clearing, infrastructure improvements, as well as diplomatic clearances. Some of these bases are currently being renovated by the US to support possible dispersed operations should airbases like Andersen AFB be disabled by PRC missile attacks.

Possible West Pacific Airbases ORBAT – Full Bases: Steam Link:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 3133650115

This file contains possible Western Pacific airports, airfields, and airstrips that the US military and its allies could utilise against the PRC should conflict arise. This version contains the “full” airfields, meaning that they are targetable, but also will result in a higher AU count. There are no magazines or air defences provided at these aerodromes, but each should contain at least communications equipment, Mk1 Eyeball with Binoculars sensors, and a 7.62mm machine gun mount, simulating them being used as a Forward Operating Base (FOB). Some of the larger airports and airbases also have some variation of radar.
A few of the bases are not 100% where they should be as CMO will delete facilities imported onto water. For example, Hateruma and Kikai airports are further inland as CMO has their actual locations as minus elevations.

List of aerodromes:
1) Henderson Field [Midway Atoll] and Emergency Divert Airstrip [Eastern Island]
2) Wake Island Airfield [Wake]
3) Central Field [Iwo Jima]
4) Bucholz Army Airfield [Kwajalein Atoll] (this base has a Long Range Discrimination Radar standing in as the GBR – P Radar)
5) Dyess Army Airfield [Kwajalein Atoll]
6) Saipan International Airport [Saipan]
7) Tinian North Field [Tinian]
8) Tinian Airport [Tinian]
9) Rota International Airport [Rota]
10) Antonio B Won Pat International Airport [Guam]
11) Yap International Airport [Micronesia]
12) Roman Tmetuchl International Airport [Palau]

This file contains possible Western Pacific airports, airfields, and airstrips that the US military and its allies could utilise against the PRC should conflict arise. This version contains the Single-Unit Airfields which lowers the AU count, but therefore means that they're not targetable; there are no magazines or defences provided at these aerodromes. All but a couple of bases have a generic ATC radar and Mk1 Eyeball with binos. Andersen has a SPY-6 radar (as of 2024-01, CMO doesn't have the TPY-6 radar in the DB, which is expected to be built on Guam) and Bucholz has a Long-Range Discrimination Radar as a stand-in for the GBR-P Radar. Basic Comms Links are provided at each base.

Naha Air Base in 2024, together with all AD, EW, and JASDF-controlled ECM sites in Japan, including US military sites, as of December 2024.

The latter file should remain valid through 2025, but there are two radar sites currently inactive due to converting to a new radar, and they could come online sometime next year.

Sites with non-360 radars (All Patriot batteries + AN/TPY-2 radars) have NOT been adjusted to face the direction of a threat, please be sure to do so before using this file in a scenario!

Also, a note about how where PAC-3 and PAC-2 sites were determined: "Japan is described as having 96 Patriot launchers deployed in 24 air defense missile units. 48 of them are capable of launching PAC-3 missiles, and 48 of them are capable of launching PAC-2 missiles. A newspaper article claimed that PAC-3 units had been deployed around Tokyo, Ashiya Air Base, Hamamatsu Air Base, and Tsuiki Air Base, but the exact base at which each type is deployed is not clear. Therefore I had to guessestimate where they might be deployed based on the proximity of bases to likely targets for ballistic missile attack."***

Japan's BMD is heavily biased towards focusing on North Korean threats specifically; China is considered to be a maritime threat for the most part. Because the Patriot is designed to intercept MRBMs, not IRBMs which would be used in a North Korean attack on Okinawa, I assumed there are no JASDF PAC-3s deployed to Okinawa. The lack of BMD-oriented Patriot coverage over Okinawa is made up for by the US Army Patriot batteries deployed there.

***Japanese Patriot batteries typically only have four launchers each in them. This isn't currently modeled in CMO, but if the Japanese units are ever corrected, they will automatically be corrected by simply loading the Import file in the newer version of the DB. Consequent to this, Japanese defenses are stronger in some areas than they are in real life; units that would have only PAC-3 have PAC-2 available as well.

Hello,

I noticed that the above file for Japan's SAMs, radars, and ECM had an error. A couple SAM batteries were accidentally placed over water, and thus won't load using that file. Here is the corrected file.

Also, the "ECM" facilities have been corrected. These are actually HF/DF sites, and have been changed from a trio of "generic SIGINT/ELINT/COMINT" facilities to the generic HF/DF facility, as the exact sensor is not in the DB (and little seems to be known about it).

Facilities are accurate as of early 2025.
