I thought from reading about the Dhayut ( Iknow I spelt it wrong, still learning the names) are suppose to be a cross between the borg and Klingons. But when I played them, I expected them to play more like the borg, so I decided I would declare war as soon as I met another race. Low and behold they didn't act like Klingons at all, and were unhappy when i went to war.ORIGINAL: Gertjan
It would be nice to have some Klingon type of race in the game, or is there one already?
Maybe it's me, I don't know, but I would expect a Hive Mind would act more like bees or ants, and they work for the queen or the leader or what ever you want to call the top honcho. When you are a hive mind, I would expect that there to be no individuality and people shouldn't be unhappy. The same would be for reverse as well, they shouldn't be happy either, so you get no bonuses for when a population is happy. But guess what, when being a hive mind, you citizens get happy for having medical bays and entertainment bays. I don't think that should be the case.
We should also have vering degrees of martial law as well. By that I mean some races when placing troops on a planet would be able to make unhappy people content at least. So for one race maybe having 3 troops would make the planet not rebel, while for humans you might have to have 15 troops so the planet will not rebel.
