RE: unable to open .prk files for ballparks

Thanks a lot, Deltadog. I was unaware of the import feature. You were on the money.
Now I must select a stadium for my fictional Echo Lodge Letts who are doing battle against the 1986 MLB teams.

Thanks again!

unable to open .prk files for ballparks

<t> I've downloaded the ballpark files from PadreFan's site, but cannot get them to open up in the game as a choice for ballpark image. I extracted them to the mods folder as .prk files. In the game, only jpg files seem to work as ballparks. I tried converting them to jpg, but my program for that ...

No extra points in quick sim games

I simmed a few games in my US Maximum FB League and noticed that for some reason the teams were scoring touchdowns, but not kicking extra points. Has anyone else noticed this or had this come up? Maybe it a bug to be addressed.

RE: Plays n Playbooks

<t> Unzip the downloaded files into the plays folder within the Maximum FB folder. Then use the export button in the PDS menu and the plays should be available for you to when you choose the import playbook button. In the PDS choose create a new playbook, name it, and then import the plays by ...

RE: Loading in new Playbooks

<t> I have been creating a new playbook and then importing offensive and defensive plays one by one and it has worked. It's a bit tedious, but it works. I've been saving the plays by nmleague and Deft into the plays folder of my Matrix folder. So now I am a combo of the 59 playbook and Deft's plays ...

RE: 1959NFL playbook available for download

<t> nmleague: Thanks for the great work on the '59 playbook! It has greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the game. With guys like you making plays and the others working on uniforms and David and others looking to get rid of bugs and make improvements, we will really have something here. It's a fun game ...

RE: Release Time

<t> I'm sure your an excellent teacher. I didn't mean to call that into question. I was just trying to make a point about the "throwaway kids" that nobody wants and I see all the time. And yes, I do try to use innovative teaching methods to reach these students.<br/>
Anyway, I wish you success or ...

RE: Creating Teams?

Thanks JonnieR. Seems like you have been working and thinking hard about this aspect of the game. It would be great to have rosters of past NFL teams (or individual players) that could be plugged into the game. The possibilities are endless. Thanks for your generousity.

RE: arcade & simulation

I assume there will be an option to just sim the action, i.e. call the plays and then see the result with worrying about arcade type control. Realistic simulation with super graphics is what I'm hoping for. So far, the graphics look good.
