Hi! I was thinking of starting a grand campaign playing as the Allies for the first time in a while.

I was curious if the Japanese AI ever seriously attempts to invade Australia or New Caledonia for that matter.

When I attempt to uninstall the game I'm getting the following prompt.

Invalid uninstall control file: C:\Program Files\Matrix Games\Strategic Command-American Civil War\Uninstall\uninstall.xml

Any ideas? I haven't moved or changed anything since the original installation.

Yeah, I do have that turned off already.

I think a lot of it has to do with my new PC. It seems to run the game's animations at a much faster clip than the old one.

I've often wondered if there is a way in the game to slow down the speed with which battles and movement are animated on the map during the opposing side's turn? Thanks for any insight you can offer.

It might be a graphic glitch of some sort. However, I'm only seeing five potential eagles on the Karpaty Army or any other Polish unit. Sometimes art mods do unexpected things. I've noticed the national flags on the cities in this mod seem chopped up.

Assuming you are using either 11.26a or b, did you update the AI files after installing the base game? If not, you are using the 2010 AI files, which have been VASTLY improved in the many years since. I discuss the issue in this thread:
