RE: OB Smoke?

<t> This game delivered what was advertised. They said it was a re-release of CC4 that worked on modern computers with some updated graphics and campaign. I'm happy with that.<br/> <br/> If you expected more than what they promised, that's on you. And if they don't deliver what they hype, that's on ...

RE: Impressions - Pathfinding/Maps

<t> You think your pathfinding is bad, wait till you see the AI trying to move 4 Panthers near a bridge in the Grand Campaign in the 4th or 5th battle of Day 1. I feel like I'm fighting a battle against Col. Klink! (or whatever that guys name was)<br/> <br/> The warts are still there, but, to be fai...

RE: This Re-Release

Neil,

Did you run those tests? This was highly annoying in CC: Modern Tactics (and ultimately made the game unplayable on my computer), so knowing this is not an issue would be welcome news.

Close Combat: MT Review: No Thanks...

<r> My Review: <br/> I purchased the game immediately on site. An impulse buy. The main reason I have visited Matrix Games over the years was primarily waiting for Combat Leader to arrive. That never materialized, no problem. The crew at Matrix has quite a few old Close Combat fans stuffed in its ra...

RE: Movement Replay

Oh, that's definately a classic issue I'm having...sadly there's no fix. It's a problem with your machine.

RE: Movement Replay

I was sure the game pathfinding needed to be tightened up, but this video shows that it must just be my computer. I guess there's no reason to hope for a patch now. Oh well, like I said, no big deal. Especially since it only effects me.

RE: Movement Replay

Downloading now. Really, the pathfinding and infantry/vehicle movement makes the game unplayable. If this video shows things differently, then maybe it is just my computer and will accept the fact that I'm out $29. No big deal in the long run.

RE: Road to Baghdad

The layout of Road to Baghdad and Modern Tactics are identical in may aspects. Looks like a build off of that.

RE: Cross of Iron or Modern Tactics

Close Combat: Cross of Iron is a great introduction to the series and well worth the investment. It's a return to Close Combat III: The Russian Front with a brand new campaign. So if you haven't played it before, you'll get two great campaigns for the price of one.

<t> I only loaded one unit per vehicle. Again, some wouldn't load up after I hit 'begin'.<br/> <br/> I then tried to move vehicles on to the road from their default deployed locations and they could not get to the road. Some would, but not all. A bradley and an M1 did make it to the road, and a smal...

RE: Vehicle Pathfinding/Mounting Issues

ORIGINAL: Marc Schwanebeck

Aditionally, always use waypoints for vehicles.

I have played CC since CC2, so I was aware of that and tried it with no luck. Have you played the mission I cited?

<t> Huh?<br/> <br/> Mounting - In pre-mission phase I got the little green dot.
