RE: Why is this game still $40?

<t> This is where I think developers, but mainly publishers are missing a trick.<br/> <br/> Games like these are very specialist - they only appeal to a select type of player to begin with. But retaining full retail price on the store for a game that is over twelve years old, is simply going to dete...

Bought it myself in the Steam sale.

RE: WitP for iPad!

If the battery life on an iPad is equivalent to that of my iPhone, I'd guess that on a single charge, the game might make half-a-turn before running flat. ;)

Carriers at War demo?

Hi all,

Was there ever a demo of this game released? I've heard mixed reviews about it, so would like to at least try it before forking out £33 on a four-year-old game. :)

Cheers.

<r> I'm sceptical about Harpoon in online mode, tbh. While I can certainly see the possibilities in having a PvP game on the high seas, I really would doubt that the 'demand' would be there.<br/> <br/> Harpoon takes commitment and time to appreciate and absorb yourself into. Ah, maybe I've been slating them too early then! I think a little more diesel-subbing is called for - noise, or no noise!

That would be great if it does. The 'randomness' would be a great aspect to the game, imo.

<r> Cheers for the responses. I didn't realise that there would be so many factors involved, actually.
