Erik,

What drives the behavior of a ship/station, the role/subrole or the components built into it? Can I, for example, put a construction bay in a passenger ship and expect it to repair other ships?

I believe you need to build a gas mining ship or a gas mining station, not a resupply ship.

Resupply ships has a different function from a mining ship.

It would be nice if a fleet can retrofit utilizing all the star-bases system-wide instead of all ships queuing in one star-base. Maybe issue an order "retrofit at a star-system." This is similar to "patrol a star-system" not only a planet, moon or star-base.
