Kamikaze Bellum Pacifica Map

Could someone send me, or post a link, to the file for the Kamikaze Bellum Pacifica Map. The current one is not working. I finally bought the game and got my switches right. This is the last step before I start playing. Thanks!

RE: Hex Info

<r> Below is a screenshot that shows page 70 of the manual and you can see the info box that would show environmental information. It also describes the problem with screen resolution width that I referenced. I know of no other way to get this kind of hex info from the game.<br/> <br/> <IMG src="htt...

Hex Info

<t> I have version 1.06.05 I have both the Steam and the Matrix Games versions. <br/> <br/> I cannot find environmental information available anywhere. Page 70 of the manual manages to state, both prosaically and yet cryptically, the following:<br/> <br/> "In all Tabs and if your resolution has enou...

RE: Version III Map Graphics

<t> Thanks much guys. Yeah its just personal preference. There's nothing wrong with current graphics and I will probably get used to them. I just wanted to have the option. I am very much looking forward to the new version. Are there new terrains that the old graphics don't cover in updated or new s...

Version III Map Graphics

Does anyone know of a means or a mod to get the version III map graphics back? I prefer them, they were crisp. The new graphics are just too washed out for me.

Sprite Ratio

<t> I'm think of buying. I'd like to be able to set the sprite ratio to 1-1.<br/> <br/> The Sprite Ratio defaults at 6 to 1. The rulebook states you can set this to 1-1. Does this work? What memory does the game require to set the ratio to 1-1? Or, does this not work well except for small battles?</t>

RE: Civil War 2008 Classic Scenario

<t> Now I know this isn't the most popular scenario. It may seem awkward. I normally play WW2 scenarios too. But I have developed a fondness for this scenario due to its virtues. The terrain is genuinely interesting, the situation is at the same time both balanced and the players have different prob...

Civil War 2008 Classic Scenario

<t> Looking for someone who would like to play this scenario as the South. I would prefer to get a send in at least five times a week (each) though I can do more if you are motivated. At a minimum there ought to be send from one side or the other most days. Obviously, each side will have interruptio...

RE: Did update but want access to old map skin

Thankyou for the quick reply. I had tried that but from within a game. I did it this time on the way in to the program. Now I understand.

Did update but want access to old map skin

I did the update. The new map graphics are good, probably clearer, but I am also fond of the old map skin too. Can I get some pointers about how to migrate between the two?

RE: What is the cost/benefit of breaking down units

<t> I was already aware of this equation and clearly the situation needs to be taken into account. I guess my question is: Is breaking down units intentionally, wide spread, or is it generally avoided whenever possible? That's too innocuous...What does "Lage" mean again? <br/> <br/> So far, it appea...

RE: Is reloading end turn .sal cheating?

<t> What are the cheats to watch out for in this game? <br/> <br/> It's sad but there are inveterate cheaters out there. Most wargamers realize that cheating just ruins your own enjoyment, but bad monkeys that we are... I like to be able to figure out as early as possible who is messing with the fat...

What is the cost/benefit of breaking down units

<t> What I know so far:<br/> <br/> 1) A unit loses some of its combat capacity proportionally after breaking down.<br/> 2) Quality breakdowns seem to be extremely resilient barring being utterly overwhelmed or using them stupidly.<br/> <br/> This makes me believe that if you are defending this is of...
