Neutral Posture

So I play a "blitzkrieg" card on an HQ. I blitz for a turn or two. How do I go back to a "neutral" posture? Is there a way other than playing a different posture card?

Thanks in advance.

RE: First Impressions, please!

<t> Never played LnL before. Got it, played the first two German scenarios on "normal". Lost a couple times along the way before succeeding. (Hot Tip: Driving a PzIV into a house can cause the house to collapse onto your PzIV)<br/>

RE: Westheim returns! (random map, 5 AI, failure guarantee)

I'd recommend sending production directly to the combat HQ's that are going to use the units. It requires more micromanagement on the production side, but your units get to the front lines a lot quicker.

RE: ATG: Wishlist thread

<t> I REALLY like Konrad's idea about filters for certain unit types. Artillery, aircraft and engineers tend to get buried under stacks. I hate losing a close assault, only to discover that I had an available artillery unit nearby that I had missed. And I hate finding a group of engineers buried in ...

RE: Do Officers Gain XP by Playing Cards?

Another question: after you play a card, do they randomly replenish, or is that something that only occurs again when you level up?

RE: Do Officers Gain XP by Playing Cards?

I played a blitzkrieg card to support an attack on a heavily fortified enemy city. My attack failed, with lots of casualties. The officer emerged unscathed.

RE: Do Officers Gain XP by Playing Cards?

Cool. I had an officer gain a level after playing the operational planning card from my Supreme HQ, which made me suspicious. Anyways, good to know.

Another officer question: Any idea exactly how risky "medium risk" is? Or "low risk"?

It seems like they do. Can anyone confirm this?

RE: Some questions on random games

<t> I usually have no staff in my supreme HQ, as it is not a combat HQ and will not benefit from having permanent staff. Staff are not required to fulfill the supply distribution function: they only exist to add combat bonuses to directly subordinate combat units. I have my capital make as much ...

RE: Some questions on random games

<t> I do it the same way Josh does, but even simpler. I have my capital responsible for producing supply, and it sends all of its supply to Supreme HQ. When you create a new HQ, the game asks you to set an HQ for that HQ. I set it to Supreme HQ. I don't have any cities making supply for the ...

RE: Why AT G for historical scenarios?

<t> I agree with OP that other, more specialized games do a lot of the well-trodden areas of WWII better than an ATG scenario can or will. But ATG is a powerful engine, and it can do other conflicts that haven't been as well covered. There are middle east scenarios, Vietnam scenarios, a Haiti ...

RE: Kombrig mod

This mod sounds awesome. I particularly love the readiness changes. The "flying production" is frustrating. Doing it this way should put a real emphasis on strategy, forward thinking, and the maintenance of reserves. I love. it.

RE: 'Leaders Enhancement', Comments and Bugs

<t> I disagree regarding micromanagement. In two MP games, I think I've played one card and switched one officer. I am probably underutilizing my officers, but even so there is not a whole lot of management necessary.<br/>

<t> But your distribution hub sends reinforcements to your combat HQs, right? Which lowers the staff experience? So you don't really save anything there, other than perhaps controlling when the experience hit happens. <br/>

I think Ernie was just trying to be helpful! As for my suggestions, consider them the views of a random dumbass.

Still, consider this a prayer to the Great and Powerful Vic to have my humble idea made part of the core game. If He wants to. Because it's His game.
