It was still on my list to look into research myself - now i can just play the game.
The chain multiply is quite counterintuitive. I thought one has to add up all percentage bonuses. Good this is clarified now.

I guess you do not own Legends then?
I think there will be an update to ROTS eventually to implement some of the improvements that are included in Legends. Only Code Force knows when it will come, though.
Anyway, i would suggest to buy Legends if you can afford it - its awsome!

If you want it to jump in and quickly drop troops before it gets shot down i would advise to add more thrusters. Cruise 5 is damn slow. You could easily throw out 28 armor and double your thrust without sacrifising much beefiness.
