Over the past week, I have prepared division icons for the SPQR side.

have you done something about the voices? 'Europa Barbarorum' mod may have some historical voice lines that could be useful.

Hi,

using CoI from STEAM here...
I still cannot play any mods, I get "unable to find operation in data, please re-install close combat" message.

When loading the mod without the custom operations and campaign it loads fine.

the maps are linked in a linear way west to east (or east to west). Days in an operation are the "battles" you can have in any one of them.

If you flee the current map where battle is supposed to happen on the current day you go back one map, depending on the side is the direction you will "flee ...

Hi,

we are currently in the middle of a team multiplayer Grand Campaign using the mod "Radzymin '44" by Aetius of the game "Close Combat: Last Stand Arnhem".

We are on battle 115 I think, Day 5 or so with 4 turns per day and so far we've had only one crash. I think that's pretty impressive.

another couple suggestions if other patch is in the works:

-Survivors from teams that get disbanded due to high casualties and merged into depleted teams should get to keep their original weapons they had from their original squad. (present in the original CC2)

-Schwarztkopf was a member of a PzGrenadiere team. The MG42 gunner actually.

just occured to me... could it be possible to use say PNG format images instead of TGA with this new render library SDL?

is the reason for the videos not working the format they are rendered? if so could one convert them to another more modern video format in order to have them play in-game?

This is a big surprise, I will check it out once when I get home.

what is meant by this?
-Has a rewritten renderer based on SDL. It is more likely to work properly with modern Windows.

Also, do you plan to improve the AI on other games from the series?

Turret/Barrel Shadows

Hi,

Is it possible to add Turret/Cannon shadows for vehicles? So when the turret turns, you can see the barrel shadow (and Turret) turning and casting a shadow on the terrain.

You can choose to not use that feature.

I think it represents that the losing side disengages and retreats to better defensive positions, where the attacker has to once again rethink his attack options.

It's a help for the A.I. mostly, in multiplayer I think it's not used.
