Will "Retreat1970's Unleashed Extended II + AI research orders" work with just the first patch provided on the OP or is there additional changes needed? I'm asking because I'm still getting weird crashes.

And how about ehsumrell1's star trek mod?

Yeah with this game the "full conversions" are often the best, like his human mod, or the star trek mod.

I'm sure someone else has an easier solution, but I just increase the component numbers in designTemplates for each race.

One solution I've seen is long-distance warp jamming, makes ships come out and engage at greater distances.

Ahhhh, I honestly don't know, I thought the old BSG mod did at least, perhaps not. Regardless, this will take outdated/buggy mods and make them usable again. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me could compile them all? [:D]

Also getting red box for values over 1 in "Colony Manufacturing Level," there is no limit on this as far as I know, it's based on population*development level.

Not sure if it's just my computer or not, but when I accidentally selected the wrong path for the mod folder on start-up, after giving the warning message it froze and the only thing I could do was X out of the program....
