RE: The Game?

I am relieved to see that the game has been delayed so that the AI can be improved. After the AI fiasco in Rome:Total War, otherwise one of the greatest games ever made, it is nice to think we might get an AI in WAW that will make the game worth ...

RE: Product Release Date

So I have to wait for February. Hmmm.... If only I could go into hibernation for a couple months to make the wait shorter. [:'(]

RE: AAR - PBEM Game "Akula"

Not sure when it changed over but I am really liking the new and improved UI. The new color scheme just seems to fit the game a lot better then the old one IMO. I see there are more buttons and some changed graphics also.

Good news. The board was getting to be a very lonely and slow place to be without the AARs going on. [:'(]

1) Germany
2) Japan
3) Russia
4) Western Allies

I am pretty sure you can not change the order of turns but a beta tester may prove me wrong on that one. [:'(]

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>First, we found that it was too easy for fleets to sail by enemy land regions. We felt that we needed a rule to cut down on these long-range excursions, especially in the Pacific. Although air units can Op fire at units moving past them, there aren't always enough air units ...

Very nice. I really like how easy it is to tell what provinces are in winter and which ones are not. Very cool [:)]

I also am curious to hear how things go in the Pacific. I know that it is hard to tell what exactly is going on from the few public AARs but it seems like not much ever happens in the Pacific.

Both the Western Allies & Japan need subs as well, to conduct the necessary sub campaigns in the Pacific.

good to hear. I was just curious sense the few public AARs have not said much about subs in the Pacific.</r>

RE: AAR - Jupiter

From the AAR's I've read would it be correct to say the best stratagey to use with subs is to use them in waves and not just send them peicemeal into the Atlantic?

Also are subs useful for anyone else besides Germany?

<t> nice update. Two quick questions about the partisans though.<br/>
<br/>
1) Is that the final art for them? Maybe it is just me but the partisan symbol just does not look that good or fit in when compared to all the other graphics in the game.<br/>

2) Is there supposed to be a ...

RE: Any Comments on the AI

One quick question on the AI invasions. Did they land in force or was it more along the lines of a quick strike with a few units just to keep you busy? If it was the latter have you ever seen the AI land in force anywhere?
