One question...I was changing my pre-draft rankings, and figured I'd look at the categories for defensive players. There was sort of a small group of the occasional big name with a few "Who the Hell is that?" types. Are the names in there at that time (this was earlier in the week) the names that will be there Sunday, or will every DL, DB and LB be an option come draft time?

They should all be in there. Go to the Players section and you can sort/filter by position and by any of the stats/rankings including "Fan Pts" which is the calculated points per the league system of each player. You can also specify what period you want to look at (i.e. 2007 performance, projected 2008 performance, etc.)
Aaaah, there they are! Nice. Thanks, Erik.

If we don't get one more player I will add "chump the Chimp" to get an even number.

(Chump the Chimp always goes bye the Yahoo predictions to set his roster.

Hey! You can't have a team that copies my strategy for picking! [:-][:D]

Do they really have to? I love competing with other teams drafting DeAngelo Williams in Round 3 and kickers in the 6th. [:D]

Well, scheduling the draft early on a saturday morning ensures few people will show up. Some people work on saturdays,...those that dont are sleeping.

yea, i was quite surprised it turned out so well. had to make a couple free agent moves to get rid of the extra icker, extra defense and some other dead weight. but it's looking pretty solid on paper.

Sorry, all three leagues have drafted. Season starts Tomorrow night. I waited as long as I could...

We do it every year, Baseball and Football. Though next year I'm debating adding a NASCAR league to fill the gap between football and baseball.

He of course was my 1st pick in two of three drafts... Rodgers was my primary back up, in one and Kurt Warner in another...

Off to a weak 1-2 start...

Kickin ass this week,.

Should end the week as the top scoring team, and will certainly be out of the cellar and back in the mix of things.

Speaking of top scoring team...I'd like to thank my receivers this week, since without them, I was hooped in the Pro Football league. [:D]

This has been pretty interesting so far, in that I'm new to the whole deal and didn't realize how much could go wrong.

Draft day kinda sucked because my wife and I came back from brunch late, and I missed the first two rounds. Week 1 fell apart on me when the Cowboys didn't follow their depth chart, and rearranged one of my starters out of the lineup. Then Hurricane Ike put two of my best defenders out of Week 2! Thank goodness for this weekends turaround, so I can stop my whining. [:D]

Anyway, it's really all a lot of fun. I named my team "Fudgehammers" after a former Forty-Niner's linebacker, Frank Nunley. I've staffed it with every criminal that I can lay my hands on, felons of every sort. Sure, there are a few "goody-two-shoes" types on the squad, but I'll be disappointed if they don't get at least a DWI before the season's over, members of my new family, as it were.

DEFENSE RULES: GO FUDGEHAMMERS!
