I wonder if the Senegalese knew what they were fighting for? Mercenaries?

How were the British Chinese Labor Corps recruited...or were they Shanghai-ed?

The Swiss border guards don't look too happy.

Absolutely Amazing!

Loved seeing Swiss Border Guards in WW1, actually that is the first I have ever seen them in pictures in uniform.

Thanks so much for sharing.
It is much harder to think about doing something than actually doing it!
